How the Fantasy Trade Analyzer Works
Live Player Data
Real-time stats and projections from the Sleeper API. Updated with current season performance, injury status, and team assignments.
VORP Algorithm
Value Over Replacement Player methodology with positional scarcity adjustments. RBs and TEs get higher value due to scarcity.
Fair Analysis
Instant fairness ratings with diminishing returns for multi-player trades. Get clear winner/loser assessments.
Pro Tips
- • Search instantly: Type any letter (e.g., "A") to see all players whose names start with that letter
- • Position scarcity matters: RBs have 1.4x value multiplier, TEs 1.3x due to scarcity
- • Multi-player trades: The side giving more players loses 10% value per extra player
- • Injury impact: Players marked "Out" lose 50% value, "Questionable" lose 20%
- • ROS projections: All values based on remaining playoff weeks

Understanding Fantasy Football Trade Values
A fantasy football trade analyzer helps you determine if a trade is fair by calculating each player's value based on their projected rest-of-season performance. Our analyzer uses the VORP (Value Over Replacement Player) methodology, which measures how much better a player is compared to the baseline replacement at their position.
Unlike simple trade value charts, our tool accounts for positional scarcity, injury risk, and diminishing returns in multi-player trades. This gives you a more accurate assessment than static charts that don't reflect current season performance.
Positional Scarcity Explained
Not all fantasy points are created equal. A running back scoring 15 points per game is more valuable than a wide receiver with the same output because elite RBs are harder to find.
High Scarcity (1.3x - 1.4x)
- • Running Backs (1.4x): Elite RBs are rare. Only ~15-20 RBs worth starting weekly.
- • Tight Ends (1.3x): Outside the top 5 TEs, production drops significantly.
Moderate Scarcity (1.0x - 1.1x)
- • Wide Receivers (1.1x): Deep position with many viable options.
- • Quarterbacks (1.0x): Streaming QBs is viable in 1QB leagues.
Scoring Format Impact
Player values change dramatically based on your league's scoring format:
PPR (Full Point Per Reception)
Heavily favors pass-catching RBs and slot WRs. Christian McCaffrey, Austin Ekeler, and Cooper Kupp get massive boosts.
- • Receptions: +1.0 point
- • Best for: Pass-catching RBs, slot WRs, volume TEs
Half-PPR
Balanced format. Receptions still matter but rushing TDs carry more weight. Most popular format in 2025.
- • Receptions: +0.5 point
- • Best for: Balanced RBs, high-volume receivers
Standard (No PPR)
Touchdowns are king. Power RBs like Derrick Henry and deep-threat WRs gain value over volume receivers.
- • Receptions: 0 points
- • Best for: TD-dependent RBs, deep threat WRs
